    I need advise on how to get my akara recipe, I live in hawthorne and I tried using the bean flour and I had a flat akara that looks like pancakes, it came out dry. I want to know what I can do to make it come out fluffy inside like the normal akara, also the mixture recipe:how many cups to how much water and the amount of oil that will be enough for deep frying akara?

  2. I guess it came out flat because it's bean flour, try to get real beans and see the outcome. Also regarding the mixture recipe, it shouldn't be too watery or too thick. I usually don't use measuring cups so I can't say the exact measurement.
